Invalidity discharge issued following a gunshot wound to the left leg received at the battle of Marengo on the twenty-fifth prairial year 8 (June 14, 1800).
Done in Alexandria on 30 thermidor year 9 (August 18, 1801).
HISTORY:
- The 6th dragon regiment (or 6th RD) is a French army cavalry unit, created during the Revolution from the La Reine Dragons regiment, a French cavalry regiment from the Ancien Régime, and disbanded in 1992. * 1797: Colonel Jacques Le Baron, promoted to colonel in 1803. On August 23, 1797, he took command of the 6th dragon regiment, joining the Rhine army.
- The 1st dragon regiment (1st RD) is a French army cavalry unit, created during the Revolution from the Royal Dragons regiment, a French cavalry regiment from the Ancien Régime, and disbanded in 1997.
