FIREFIGHTER HELMET FROM THE COMMUNE OF MONTEREAU, type 1895, Third Republic. Inventory number 28548R

Helmet entirely made of brass. Crest with prominent moldings decorated in the front with a grenade, fixed by an internal screw. Front plate made of stamped brass featuring a shield with a flaming grenade, surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch, and a ribbon with the inscription "SAPEURS POMPIERS DE MONTEREAU".
