Slightly trapezoidal bomb-shaped helmet made of stainless steel with nickel and chrome, polished on the outside, retaining the characteristics of the 1926 model helmet with ventilation holes, spring blades and chinstrap attachments. Brass trim folded over the outer edge of the visor and neck cover. Flat surface at the front of the crest with a brass emblem stamped with the marine anchor. Crest fixed with rivets. Front plate embossed in brass with the coat of arms of the city of Marseille featuring a marine anchor and a ribbon bearing the inscription "MARINES-FIREFIGHTERS BATTALION MARSEILLE." Initial leather liner in soft ochre color cut into six sections. Black leather chinstrap.
