Gilt brass hilt. Single-branch guard. Bivalve hilt decorated on the obverse with the caduceus, featuring a mirror framed by oak and laurel branches. Entirely filigree handle with gold wires. Grooved blade, 80 cm long, signed "National weapons factory of Chatellerault July 1929 Military health service school". White buffalo tie. Blue steel scabbard with two brass fittings.

Very good condition, slight oxidation on blade to be cleaned.
