NCO SABER OF THE CHASSEURS À CHEVAL, Revolution. 29253

Brass hilt. Guard with one branch decorated with lines and signed underneath "MEUNIER." Cap with long decorative tail. Wood grip entirely filigreed in copper. Curved blade with hollow edges, 78.7 cm long, 3.5 cm wide at the base, stamped with the bundle of fasces. Scarlet cloth knot. Wooden scabbard covered in black waxed calf leather with two large brass fittings decorated with lines, steel blade.
