INFANTRY OR NATIONAL GUARD OFFICER'S GORGET, model 1792, Revolution. 26019

Tray in gilded brass with central motif in silvered copper stamped in relief with a sword of justice wearing the Phrygian cap framed: on the left of an oval medallion bearing the Tables of the Law with the inscription "RIGHT OF HOMME", this medallion is surmounted by a civic crown; in the right part of an oval medallion stamped with the bundle of lictors and bearing the inscription “OUR UNION FAIT OUR FORCE” surmounted by a civic crown. This decor is placed on a background of bundles of flags, cannons, balls, drums, barrels of powder. In its upper part, it is surmounted by a ribbon bearing the inscription "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE".
