Completely in brass. Spherical bomb bordered at the bottom with a protruding bead. Visor and neck cover welded to the bomb in the lower part, they are folded on themselves so as to form an edge ring. Crest decorated with a flaming bomb on the mask, frontal plate presenting a shield stamped with the arms of the City of Paris, surmounted by a crown and a ribbon bearing the inscription "FLUCTUAT NET MERGITUR" framed by oak branches and of laurel tied together by a ribbon to which is attached the Legion of Honor awarded to the City of Paris on October 9, 1900; it is pierced on both sides with ventilation holes; the crest fixing system is internal to the shell without tightening screws. Chin strap in black patent leather.

Fairly good condition, a few blows and dents to the bombshell and to the crest, the inner cap is missing.
