Entièrement en laiton. La base de la bombe est bordée à l'avant et à l'arrière d'un bandeau décoré de branches de chêne en relief. Visière mobile estampée en relief de deux haches croisées liées entre elles par un ruban. Couvre-nuque cerclé d'un jonc plié à cheval sur sa bordure extérieure. Cimier à ailerons estampés de quatorze godrons avec masque décoré d'une bombe enflammée et base découpée en forme de coeur, il est surmonté d'une chenille en crins noirs. Plaque frontale en laiton estampé d'une aigle impériale, modèle 1852, tenant dans ses serres le fuseau de Jupiter étincelant sur fond de faisceau de drapeaux avec en partie basse un ruban portant l'inscription « Srs POMPIERS DEVOUEMENT D'ECUEILLE ». Jugulaires laiton composées de deux mentonnières avec rosace : chaque mentonnière est composée d'une plaque de laiton estampée d'écailles festonnées en relief, montée sur cuir, rosace de forme ronde estampée de godrons en relief. Porte-plumet à section carrée décroissante vers le bas.
H totale du casque avec chenille 30 cm.

Bon état, quelques très légers coups à la bombe, manque la vis de serrage du porte-plumet, manque la coiffe intérieure et les rubans liants les mentonnières.
