Gilt brass tray, with a gilt brass motif, representing a bundle of lictors stamped with the letters “R F” on a background of a bundle of flags. This motif is framed by an oak and laurel branch and in its lower part a ribbon bears the inscription “LIBERTÉ EQUALITÉ FRATERNITÉ”.

This model of gorget used from 1849 to 1852 was also reused from 1872.
