Canon modèle 1777, à cinq pans courts au tonnerre puis rond, longueur 1,13 m, longueur avec la queue de culasse 1,19 m.
Toutes garnitures en acier, elles sont maintenues par un ressort en acier.
Monture en noyer. La crosse porte un cachet de réception. Platine à silex marquée « St Etienne » datée 1788, avec poinçon de Jean Baptiste Javelle contrôleur de 1785 à1801, du modèle 1777, joue à la crosse.
Baguette en fer non du modèle, mais pour le fusil d'infanterie 1822.
Longueur du fusil : 1,54 m.
