Brass hilt. Guard with a facet-shaped branch in the form of a column. Cap with a long tail. Handle made of wood entirely filigreed in copper. Brass ferrule. Curved blade with hollow facets in damask decorated on its first third with acid-etched quarters of the moon, military trophies, and floral motifs, length 83.5 cm. Scarlet cloth knot. Scabbard entirely in brass with two belt bands decorated with protruding moldings. Brass suspension rings. Steel blade.

Very good condition, this saber has never been cleaned since the period, the blade has some oxidation spots and the acid decorations are faded.
