Pistolet produit par la Manufacture Royale de Maubeuge, modèle 1816 de cavalerie, date du modèle sur la queue de culasse.
Monture en noyer, embouchoir, contre-platine, pontet et calotte, bassinet en laiton fondu; platine, chien, batterie et queue de détente en acier. Gravé sur la platine « Manufacture Royale de Maubeuge », ainsi que du poinçon du contrôleur Compas Jean Nicaise « C » couronné. Canon rond en acier avec sur un des pans droits du tonnerre poinçons du contrôleur le Lieutenant-Colonel Bergier « B » dans un ovale, ainsi qu'un « M » surmonté d'une étoile dans un ovale, non identifié. Sur la queue de culasse, nom du modèle, le « M » étant surchargé « RI 99 ». Anneau en acier sous la calotte.
Sur la pan gauche du tonnerre année de fabrication de l'arme « 1819 ».
Baguette à tête de clou en acier.

Longueur totale de l'arme : 340 mm
Calibre : 17mm

Très bon état de conservation, mécanisme en très bon état.
