COFFRET EN LOUPE DE NOYER POUR PAIRE DE PISTOLETS, milieu XIXème siècle.

Coffret de forme rectangulaire en loupe de noyer vernie avec couvercle fermant par deux crochets et une serrure en laiton, clé en acier. Intérieur gainé de velours bleu à ruban cramoisi avec emplacement pour deux armes à feu, et au centre deux platines à silex ; les angles sont garnis d'emplacements triangulaires pour les balles et accessoires.
Longueur 43,4 cm, largeur 21,9 cm, H 6 cm.
Dimensions des emplacements pour les pistolets : longueur au niveau du pan supérieur du canon 32,5 cm, longueur au niveau du pan inférieur du canon jusqu'à la sous-garde 24,5 cm, largeur pour l'emplacement du canon 4 cm, H du pan supérieur au bas de la crosse 13 cm, largeur de l'emplacement de la sous-garde à l'extrémité de la crosse 14,5 cm.
Largeur de l'emplacement des platines 12 cm.
