PISTOLET ANGLAIS À PERCUSSION PRÉSENTÉ EN COFFRET SIGNÉ JAMES WEBB, Seconde moitié du XIXème siècle. VERS 1860.

Double canon octogonal juxtaposé, gravé sur le dessus « JAMES WEBB SALISBURY ». Longueur des canons 9,5 cm. Chiens à percussion avec système de sécurité. Baguette en fer montée à rotule. Crosse pentue en noyer très finement quadrillé avec pièce de pouce en métal blanc.

Longueur totale de l'arme 22 cm.

Présenté dans un coffret en bois à compartiments, gainé de feutrine vert avec dosettes en laiton et petite poire à poudre en cuir rouge. Coffret en bois, serrure en laiton (manque la clé). Médaillon en laiton sur le couvercle.

Très bon état, bronzage du pistolet frotté sur les reliefs, feutrine du coffret légèrement insolée.
