Monture en noyer ; pontet de sous garde, calotte en laiton à bec d'aigle et coffre en laiton fondu. Exemplaire sans crochet de ceinture.
Platine à silex, disposition particulière des pistolets à coffre. Tout le mécanisme est placé à l'intérieur du coffre en laiton fondu qui reçoit le tonnerre du canon et qui se prolonge en arrière sous la crosse formant écusson. Baguette ressort tête en forme de clou arrondie percée à son sommet.
Canon à cinq pans au tonnerre puis rond, en forme de tronc de cône assez prononcé, la queue de culasse carrée vient butter contre la bride de poignée. Canon daté 1786 « 86 », marqué « M 1777 », longueur du canon 19 cm, avec la queue de culasse 21,5 cm.

Longueur totale du pistolet : 33,9 cm.

Très bon état de conservation, vis du chien probablement changée.
