En drap fin noir, soutaches de grade or, du modèle après 1883. Quelques trous de mite minimes comme illustré sur les photographies.
Petits boutons dorés, timbrés de deux canons croisés surmontés d'une grenade enflammée, maintiennant la fausse jugulaire dorée à la couleur de l'arme.
Dessus du calot orné d'un noeud hongrois en soutache or à brin simple. Brodé directement sur le devant du bandeau chiffre du régiment en cannetille d'or.
Visière en cuir verni noir, doublé de maroquin gaufré noir.

Intérieur de coiffe en satin noir. Bandeau intérieur en cuir souple, légèrement décousu sur neuf centimètres.

Coiffe portée en bon état.
