Canon à cinq pans longs au tonnerre, à huit dont trois courts à la bouche, il est très renforcé à la bouche et légèrement tromblonné. Ligne de mire constituée par deux traits gravés l'un au tonnerre l'autre à la bouche et un guidon en laiton vissé la bouche. Calibre 13,5 mm. Longueur 40,7 cm.

Platine à silex marquée en lettres cursives « Manufacture à Versailles », en partie effacé, corps plat, chien à col de cygne, bassinet en laiton avec garde-feu.

Monture en noyer à long fût montant jusqu'à la bouche, porte-joue à la crosse.

Garnitures en laiton à l'exception du battant du haut qui est en fer. Pièce de sous-garde et pontet d'une seule pièce, écusson indépendant en fer, plaque de couche cintrée, deux rosettes à oreilles formant porte-vis. Deux porte-baguettes moulurés en relief et fixés par des goupilles.

Baguette à forte tête en forme de poire très allongée, percée pour le tire-balle.

Poinçon ovale sur la platine et le tonnerre du canon représentant un bonnet phrygien surmontant la lettre « B.2 ».

Longueur totale de l'arme 78,8 cm.

Très bon état, oxydation d'usage sur les parties métalliques.
