ÉTUI REVOLVER POUR LA GENDARMERIE POUR REVOLVER D’ORDONANCE MODÈLE 1892, modèle 1876.

En cuir épais noirci et verni, ayant la forme d’un petite fonte triangulaire à face renflée, à couvercle embouti. Cartouchière cousue directement sur la gaine et cachée par le rabat. Au dos excroissance de forme ronde pour protégée la baguette de l’arme. Une cale interne maintien l’arme dans l’étui. Anneaux de bretelles de forme ovales en laiton.
Étui modifié pour recevoir le revolver modèle 1892. Les alvéoles de la cartouchière initialement pour cartouches de 11mm, ayant été remplacées pour cartouches de 8mm, et ne comportant qu’une seule rangée d’alvéoles. Le fond de la cartouchière étant prévue pour recevoir les paquets de cartouches.
Exemplaire portant un cachet de réception pour la gendarmerie, peu lisible.
Avec sa bretelle.
