Très belle aquarelle originale, hauteur 30 cm x largeur 22,50 cm (sur papier à dessin hauteur 39,50 cm x largeur 30 cm), signée en bas "de MOLTZHEIM ".

Parfait état de conservation.

Époque fin 19ème siècle.

Cette aquarelle fait partie d'une collection peinte entre 1875 et 1881.

Auguste Louis Victor de Moltzheim (1822-1881) engagé volontaire à l'âge de 18 ans au train d'artillerie, nommé lieutenant au corps d'artillerie en 1854, il participe à la campagne de Crimée en 1855, nommé au grade de capitaine en 1860, campagne d'Algérie 1860-1861, Chevalier dans l'ordre de la Légion d'Honneur en 1869.
