362 CASQUE AUTRICHIEN, Stahlhelm, modèle 1917.
Apparu en 1916 et distribué pour la première fois en France lors des combats de Verdun, son design est dû au Dr. Friedrich Schwerd et offrit au soldat allemand une bonne protection sans altérer son champ de vision. En acier de 1,2 mm d'épaisseur, embouti d'une pièce, offrant une protection complète avec sa nuquière, large visière. Par comparaison le casque français Adrian fut conçu en tôle emboutie de 0,7 mm d'épaisseur.
De chaque côté, entretoise permettant la fixation d'une plaque de renfort blindée, Stirnpanzer.
Coiffe en cuir constituée de trois coussinets en cuir blanc et toile. Chaque coussinet fixé, après mai 1917, sur un bandeau métallique ventilé. Jugulaire en toile forte de coton.
Peinture feldgrau. Casque en bon état de conservation.

RETURN POLICY Items can be returned within 8 days of receipt. They must be returned by registered mail at the sender's expense, in their original packaging, and in their original condition.

An authenticity certificate of the item including the description published on the site, the period, the sale price, accompanied by one or more color photographs is automatically provided for any item priced over 130 euros. Below this price, each certificate is charged 5 euros.
