Bombe en cuir toutes garnitures métalliques en fer peint en gris d'origine.
Plaque de l'état représentant un griffon couronné aux larges ailes déployées, appuyé sur un écu aux couleurs du Grand Duché, tête tournée à senestre, écu à dextre, de l'antérieur senestre s'appuyant sur ce dernier et de sa patte dextre brandissant un glaive, et se tenant sur une banderole portant la devise 'MIT GOTT F. FUERST U. VATERLAND' (avec Dieu pour le Prince et la Patrie).

Cocardes récentes.

Jugulaire en cuir noirci.

Bombe coiffée d'une pointe amovible, fixée sur une base ronde maintenue par quatre rivets demi-sphériques.
Intérieur de coiffe en cuir très souple marron à 9 dents de loup.

Couvre-nuque marqué au bureau d'habillement BAXIV daté de 1915, taille 53. Marquage dans la bombe au IR111 - 1915.
