Pantalon basanes des Guides, en drap garance, à bandes jaune d’or et passepoils de couleur vert foncé, marqué du cachet régimentaire des Guides, daté du 3 ème trimestre 1860, matriculé 3642. Bon état, quel, très bon état de conservation, accidents et restaurations au drap, petits trous de mites.

Pantalon ayant appartenu à Cyprien PEILLER-CUIT, matricule n°3642. Né le 2 février 1835 à Mont-Saxonnex (Savoie). Incorporé le 29 mai 1860 venant de l’armée Sarde, il sert au régiment de Nizza-cavalerie, dans lequel Robert d’Orléans Duc de Chartres est sous-lieutenant depuis 1857. Il fait la campagne d’Italie où il est décoré de la médaille d’Italie. Affecté au 6 éme escadron, il sera libéré le 30 octobre 1863.
