Sur 100 Régiments de Feldartillerie, seuls 8 Régiments sont saxons les n° 12,28,32,48,64,68,77 ou 78.

Bombe en cuir verni, jonc de cerclage de visière et toutes garnitures métalliques en laiton doré, plaque de l'état représentant dans un ovale le blason de la Maison de Saxe burelé, au crancelin, brochant en bande sur le tout couronné et ceint d'une couronne de feuilles de lauriers, sur fond de soleil rayonnant en laiton.

Cocarde de type pour officiers aux couleurs nationales noir-blanc-rouge et de l'état de Saxe vert-blanc-vert.
Jugulaires en cuir brun recouvertes d'écailles festonnées alternant deux et trois festons en laiton.
Bombe coiffée d'une boule amovible permettant le port du Haarbusch, base perlée, fixée sur une base ronde rivetée par quatre rivets en forme d'étoile.
Intérieur de coiffe en cuir fin beige, soie de même teinte écrue.

Très bon état de conservation.
