Black morocco leather cartridge box with silver Soubise type braids, with three black silk stripes, brass fittings: royal crown surmounting a flaming bomb. Black morocco leather case. Silver background pattelette, with bronze garnish and ornament, gilded; the central motif features the arms of France on a background of flags, framed by two hunting horns. Width 16.5 cm x height 10 cm.

Very good condition, braid slightly oxidized, usual wear on the morocco leather.
NOTE:
The ordinance of May 12, 1814, maintained the Hussars of the Imperial Guard under the name "Royal Corps of Hussars of France"; the Second Restoration then created the "Regiment of the Royal Guard Hussars", organized on September 1, 1815, with six squadrons.
