TREASURER UNIFORM OF THE GUARDS OF THE KING'S MILITARY HOUSEHOLD, model 1820, Restoration period.
The coat is made entirely of dark blue wool, trimmed with an imposing embroidery consisting of two stripes (an embroidered molding lined with a second molding in braided silver threads) in golden silver threads entwined with an oak branch embroidered in silver threads. It buttons straight at the front and closes with 9 large gilt brass buttons featuring the face of the sun on a radiant background, lined with black silk and blue wool.
The collar is bordered with an embroidered stripe in silver threads with silver-gilt cording inside; it is entirely embroidered with two rows, each made up of two stripes (an embroidered molding lined with a second molding in braided silver threads) in golden silver threads entwined with an oak branch embroidered in silver threads.
The cuffs are similarly decorated to the collar.
Long tails with dark blue wool revers, entirely embroidered with two stripes (an embroidered molding lined with a second molding in braided silver threads) in golden silver threads entwined with an oak branch embroidered in silver threads. In the lower part of the tails, the embroidery on the corners is completed by two fleur-de-lis embroidered in silver threads, sequins, and golden spangles (embroidered directly onto the uniform), and two suns embroidered in silver threads, sequins, and golden spangles with a face in the center in gold lamé; at the lower back, embroidery in the same pattern with two large gilt buttons.
On each shoulder, a gold embroidered shoulder strap on a scarlet background.
Colonel's epaulette in gold trimmings with large tassels, known as "Spinach Seed."
