Twisted barrel, model of the "mousqueton an IX" but elongated, 1.028m, caliber 17.5mm, breech tang with indentation without decoration or inscription, dated 1817, stamped DT.
The lock plate of the "mousqueton an IX" engraved with "Manuf Royale De Versailles", with a standard pan. Usual oxidations. All fittings are in silver-plated brass, following the model of the fittings of the model an XIII rifle but with lighter proportions (trigger guard, sling swivel, side plate). Half-stock in a demi-Charleville shape. S-shaped counterplate. Butt plate with a return terminating in a fleur-de-lis. Oval-shaped butt cap with the Arms of France and the inscription "Vive le roi".
Stock of the model an IX system, slimmer, slight extension of the grip on the butt plate, wood marked JD.
