Walnut wood stock entirely fitted with iron: butt cap, trigger guard, mouthpiece, and ramrod. Barrel with a poorly repaired breech tang engraved in cursive "M 1763." Square plate engraved in cursive "Mre De Libreville" and stamped with "L3" (for Leclerc controller, and 3 for Year 3, from September 22, 1794, to September 22, 1795). The initials "JR" are struck on the inside of the trigger guard. Each piece of the pistol bears the almost illegible L3 stamp.
Length of the weapon: 40 cm; length of the barrel: 22.8 cm; caliber: 18 mm; weight: 1.1 kg.
