Iron hilt. Multi-branch guard with quillon, open langets and chape cover, blacksmith's mark "SM" above the quillon. Slightly oval-shaped pommel. Wooden grip with iron and silver filigree, silver ferrules stamped with braids. Flat blade with a back edge, 83 cm long, formerly engraved and now only showing "dragon" then "...à la justice, pont st michel à paris". This was the address where the bladesmith Willette operated his shop. Blackened leather scabbard with two iron fittings decorated with filigree.
