HELMET
Iron skull, visor and neck guard in iron rimmed with a strip of brass folded over the outer edge. The neck guard is marked "145". Brass headband stamped with an ignited bomb with three fleurs-de-lis in relief on the body, framed by laurel and oak branches. Brass crest stamped, composed of a mask stamped at the bottom with the Arms of France surmounted by a relief head of Medusa; two side fins stamped with a decreasing series of 13 ridges framed by pearls and drops separated by acanthus leaves. The crest is adorned with a black horsehair plume. Brass jugulars in the shape of intertwined 8's mounted on a leather chinstrap; brass rosette stamped with a radiant sun, attached to the skull with a screw (rear screws). Brass plume holder. Interior liner in black leather cut in a wolf-tooth pattern.
CUIRASS
Made of steel, consisting of a backplate and a breastplate. Breastplate bordered by 36 brass nails. In the center, a copper motif representing the Arms of France and Navarre crowned on a background of rays of the sun (H 19 cm, width 16.4 cm), missing one of the threaded rods for its attachment. Two nails riveted at chest level to attach the shoulder pieces of the backplate.
Backplate bordered by 32 brass nails, adorned at the top with two leather straps covered with a double chain mail in brass with a brass lock. These straps are attached to the backplate at the top, each by a brass plate fixed with three brass screws. At the bottom, a black leather belt is attached on each side by two brass screws.

Very good condition.
HELMET in very good condition with later leather chinstrap.
CUIRASS in very good condition, leather of the straps replaced, leather of the belt replaced, original buckle. Two small holes have been drilled on each side of the breastplate subsequently.
