Black lacquered wood handle, H 11.4 cm, carved with the number "48".
Nut serving as a ring for the strap and for securing the brass blade.
Brass crossguard. It is stamped with a cabled anchor and an "E".
Triangular blade, 17.14 cm long, width at the base 1.8 cm, thickness at the base 9 mm. This blade is a recycled bayonet blade.
Black leather scabbard, length 19.2 cm, with black varnished leather loop and brass chape.
