Made of gold and enamel, with pointed pommeled ends, ribbed branch reserves, centers practically spherical (diameter 15 mm) in a single part with champlevé enamels, lateral iron rivets, elaborate loop, smooth transversal ring.

BIOGRAPHY: Marquis Pierre Radiguès, born in Paris in 1656, died in the Battle of Malplaquet in 1709. Pierre de Radiguès, known as Saint Guédal, enlisted under this last name in the French army, born in Paris and baptized in the parish of Saint-Séverin, joined the Regiment of Champagne where he obtained a lieutenancy on November 26, 1681 and continued his career in the Regiment of Provence. Commissioned as a captain on December 21, 1694, he received the Saint-Louis Order in 1699 and was promoted to the rank of lieutenant-colonel some time before the Battle of Malplaquet (1709) where he met his death. Pierre was the first in his branch to take up the title of marquis a few weeks before his death. His widow died at the Château de Samrée on January 24, 1743, leaving behind two children.
