MAGISTRATE COAT, Early 19th century. 33987
Dark brown velvet coat with front closure secured by three hooks, edged with a border of embroidered branches and flowers in silk threads and beaded wand. Nine large uniform buttons covered with dark brown velvet embroidered with flowers. Collar H 10 cm similarly embroidered. Sleeves with straight cuffs of 10 cm also embroidered and adorned with three uniform buttons.
Waist knot with two uniform buttons. Side pockets with flaps forming three pointed embroideries on the coat, each with three uniform buttons.
Fully lined in dark brown silk.
