MADAME SÉCARD'S WATER BARREL, CANTEEN KEEPER AT THE 46th LINE INFANTRY REGIMENT, Second Empire - Third Republic. 32392
Polychrome tricolor painted wooden water barrel with a white central part with golden lettering "46me: RÉGt: / -de- / LIGNE"; the outer parts are painted blue and scarlet. The ends are painted on one side in blue with the inscription "Mme SÉCARD" and fitted with a brass tap, and on the other in scarlet with a gold-painted flaming bomb. On the top of the barrel, there is a brass-trimmed opening with a brass stopper. Diameter of the ends 12 cm. Diameter at the center approximately 15 cm. Length 27 cm. Brass hoops. Black varnished leather band, width 3.7 cm, with black lacquered iron and brass buckles.
