OFFICER'S LIGHT CAVALRY CARTRIDGE BOX, Presidency of Louis Napoleon Period. 32375
White buff leather cartridge box with brass trims and fittings, width 5.5 cm; at the front an embossed lion's head holding a hook in its mouth with four chain straps linked to an un-crowned eagle crest.
Cartridge box case made of wood covered in black varnished leather with golden brass side flaps. Black varnished leather tab decorated with an embossed un-crowned eagle in the center, edged with plain brass trim. Height 8.5 cm, width at the top 14.5 cm, at the bottom 15.5 cm.
