Made of black taupe felt, trimmed with a 3.4 cm wide black silk braid. Tricolor silk cockade, Ø7 cm. Black velvet trim embroidered with silver threads, cannetilles, and sequins in a double edging with interlacing oak leaves, ribbon width 5 cm. Large silver metal uniform button featuring the imperial crown topped with a ribbon bearing the inscription "IMPERIAL STUDS." Interior lining in black silk stamped with "BAUCHET / LAMOUCHE.Sr / BLOIS."
Length 46.5 cm, front height 11.5 cm, back height 16.5 cm, width 17 cm.

Good condition, missing calf band on the interior lining, worn with a 2 cm x 1 cm area of loss at the back.
