Brass hilt. Guard with one branch engraved with laurel leaves. Curved down quillon. Shield-shaped hilt with foliage borders, the center decorated with a cut silver hunting horn. Cap with a short tail and a "melon ribbed" pommel. Ebony handle finely checkered, decorated on its front face with an oval medallion with a brass rod. Brass ferrule. Slightly curved flat blade with a rounded back, engraved and gilded on its first third with military trophies and floral decorations, on a blued background. Blade length 64.5 cm. Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings with scalloped inner edges, decorated with lines. Chape with a protruding cup-shaped mouth and an oval-shaped button for belt carrying. The end of the scabbard finished with a lyre-shaped brass dard.
