Brass hilt. Single-branch guard. Smooth shell guards. Curved downward quillon. Cap with a short tail. Finely checkered ebony handle. Scarlet cloth knot. Curved blade with hollowed facets measuring 85.5 cm long, acid-etched along its entire length with symbols, stars, moons, and oriental-style inscriptions on both sides. Brass scabbard with two seamless suspension rings, each bordered by flat moldings. Brass staples and rings. Prominent scabbard entrance cup. Lyre-shaped brass blade tip, stamped with "12."
