Brass hilt. One-branch guard with quillon folded downward, branch stamped "J.L.N." Pommel with long tail. Black waxed calf leather-wrapped handle, silver wire filigree. Brass ferrule. Curved blade with hollow facets, engraved with military trophies and floral decor, length 65.1 cm. Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Lozenge-shaped button on the scabbard's tip, typical of the Imperial Guard for belt carry. Scabbard tip with brass tip.
