Gilt bronze hilt. Branch united by a double horizontal quillon. Two-shell guard bordered by a protruding molding. Oval-shaped pommel. Handle entirely filigreed in brass. Ferrules of braided silver threads. Scarlet cloth knot. Two-sided blade measuring 77.5 cm, engraved and gilded on its first third with military trophies and vegetal decoration, heel engraved and gilded on both sides with "De La / Manufacture / De La marque / au Raisin / à Solingen."
Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings decorated with lines. Cap with oval button for belt wearing. Tip of the scabbard with gilt chape.

In good condition, the hilt and scabbard fittings are in very good condition with their gilding preserved, blade with oxidation, leather scabbard in poor condition with significant damage and missing leather, filigree complete but partly detached at the bottom.
