PAIR OF PISTOLS ATTRIBUTED TO CAPTAIN PERREY OF THE 13th CAVALRY REGIMENT, First Empire.
Octagonal then round barrels, slightly trumpet-shaped at the muzzle, length 23.7 cm, with the breech 28.5 cm. On the octagonal part, they are engraved and gilded on the left side "13.E.M.E. REG", on the top "DE CAV.E" and on the right side "PERREY. CAP.E" with foliated volutes, on a blued background. Sight notches with a golden radiant sun at their base. Flat flintlock mechanisms, without signature. All silver fittings hallmarked by the silversmith. Faceted cap ends bordered by beaded moldings. Octagonal thumb pieces engraved "P R". Walnut stocks with long shaft, carved at the breeches and the ramrod pipes with a vegetal motif. Whalebone rods with silver nail heads.
