Gilt bronze hilt. Guard branch decorated with vegetal motifs. Quillon adorned with acanthus leaves and flowers. Knuckle bow depicting the crowned imperial eagle positioned in the center of a shield with a flower on each side framed by a beaded circle. Oval pommel with medallions showing a helmet at the front and an owl at the back. Wooden handle with fluted mother-of-pearl panels and gilt brass side bars depicting laurel branches framed by a beaded molding. Ferrule featuring a laurel wreath. Triangular blade engraved and gilt with military trophies and vegetal decoration on a blued background, length 82.1 cm.

Very good condition, hilt retaining all its gilding, standard oxidation on the blade, without scabbard.
