Gilt bronze hilt. Undecorated branch. Double horizontal guard. Hilt bordered by a raised molding with fillets and a scallop shell. Helmet-shaped pommel with plume. Filigreed wooden grip of silvered brass and copper. Twisted ferrules. Blade with gutters and hollow flats, engraved and gilded with military trophies and floral decoration on a blued background, length 82.5 cm.

In fair condition, the hilt retains some of its gilding, the guard has some play in its attachment between the blade and the hilt, minor damage to the filigree, oxidized blade, without scabbard.
