Gilt bronze hilt. Guard with a wide branch forming a full shell, decorated with a naval anchor and an oval coat of arms of the Kingdom of Greece from 1936 to 1973 (coat of arms of the Glücksburg dynasty with a white cross on a blue field topped by the royal crown, coat of arms placed on a pedestal supported by two human figures representing the Greek mythological hero and Hercules holding a wooden club and the skin of the Nemean lion). Folding knuckle guard pierced for hanging the scabbard. Cap with a long tail representing a lion's head. Wooden handle sheathed in gray shagreen filigreed with copper. Ferrule decorated with leafy corollas. Curved blade with a round back, length 78 cm, signed at the heel with the manufacturer's logo "KARL EICKHORN À SOLINGEN," and acid-etched on its first third on each side with a ship with a naval anchor and the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Greece. Black varnished leather scabbard with three gilt bronze fittings with scalloped edges, decorated with lines. The chape at the rear has a pin for securing the knuckle guard. Belt rings decorated with oak leaves. The tip of the scabbard is finished with a gilt brass dart cut in the shape of a lyre.
