Gilt bronze hilt. Guard with two branches forming a pierced shell with a naval anchor and foliage. Pommel with a long tail decorated with floral motifs and scallop shells. Grip in wood covered with gray shagreen, gold-plated brass filigree. Ivory felt knot. Flat blade with a slightly curved rounded back, length 79.5 cm, signed with the manufacturer's logo "CARL EICKHORN" in Solingen. Black varnished leather scabbard with three gilt brass fittings decorated with lines. Drag with a button for belt carry in the shape of a scallop shell, adorned with a naval anchor. Drag and central fitting with gilt brass staples and rings for the suspension straps. Scabbard tip with gilt brass blade with a scallop shell and cut in the shape of a lyre.
