Brass hilt. Guard with three branches decorated with laurel leaves. Quillon stamped underneath "MANCEAUX / A PARIS." Cap with short tail decorated with laurel branches and a flower. Handle in black waxed calf leather, filigree in gilded brass. Natural buffalo leather sword knot. Curved blade with hollow edges, 95.5 cm long, stamped at the heel with "B" surrounded by a chain of J.G. Bick, first-class controller from May 1815 to August 1824, and a starred "G" in a crown of oak leaves of V.J. Guidonet, director from March to November 1823; back of the blade signed "Manufre Rale de Klingenthal, April 1823." Steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
Subaltern officer's dress cord sling with black silk cord and tassel with soft fringes in golden trimmings.
