STAFF ARMBAND ASSIGNED TO A FIELD MARSHAL OF FRANCE, model of September 15, 1917, Third Republic. 32256
Made of tricolor silk, scarlet at the bottom, blue at the top. Embroidered at its center with two blue silk marshal batons with tips, rod, and scattered stars in gold threads and bullion, the two batons are linked by a ribbon embroidered in scarlet threads. The armband is bordered at the top and bottom with a golden braid. Rectangular brass tightening buckle. Armband lined with crimson silk.
Armband height 8 cm, height of the embroidered insignia 5.5 cm, width 8.5 cm.
