Brass hilt. Guard with four branches, main branch stamped Klingenthal: "B" for J.G. Bick, first-class controller from February 1809 to February 1819 and "M" under a star for C. Marion, inspector from December 1808 to June 1811. Cap with a short tail. Handle in wood sheathed in calf leather with filigree brass, brass ferrule. Straight blade with double hollow flutes, length 96.2 cm, stamped below a "B" by J.G. Bick, first-class controller from February 1809 to February 1819, "M" under a star by C. Marion, inspector from December 1808 to June 1811, and "L" by F.L. Lobstein, reviser from June 1811 to July 1821. It is signed on the back "Manufactured at Klingenthal in December 1810"; tip of the blade in line with the central ridge.
