Made of wood clad in red morocco leather, sides in silver metal with a Medusa head attached to the upper part, H 7.1 cm, width 14.1 cm, thickness 2.8 cm. Small flap covered with a relief-stamped silver plate featuring the Arms of France surrounded by oak and laurel branches on a background of flags, with a framing strip representing a striated molding with laurel branches winding around the strip. Width 15.2 cm x H 8 cm.

Very good condition, missing the fastening tab to attach the flap to the case.
