PLATE OF THE GIBERNES OF THE GUARDS OF THE KING'S MILITARY HOUSE, model 1814, Restoration. 33830
Silver-plated copper plate (height 11.7 cm, width 12.7 cm) embossed in relief with a radiant sun surmounted by the royal crown, decorated at the bottom with two crossed keys with a sword in the middle. The center of this plate is itself decorated with the face of the Sun made of gilded brass embossed in relief (height 3.2 cm, width 3.3 cm) attached by three copper tabs.

NOTE:
The guards of the King's Military House were created on July 15, 1814, and disbanded on January 1, 1816. Due to their ephemeral existence, very few objects from this unit have survived.
