FLINTLOCK OFFICER'S PISTOL, First Empire. 33740
Octagonal barrel slightly tapering towards the muzzle, length 13.5 cm, with a breech measuring 18 cm, stamped on one side with an "M" under a crown, featuring a rear sight and front sight. It is engraved and gilded on its three upper sides with a floral design including vases, a lyre, and lightning bolts, originally on a blued background. Flintlock mechanism unsigned, lock and battery with partly guilloché edges, walnut stock with a long grip. All fittings in polished steel. Octagonal pommel, steeply checkered grip. Ebony ramrod with steel pullers.

Good condition, bluing on the barrel mostly worn, broken battery spring, some wood losses near the fittings, a 5 cm crack at the front of the stock.
